Terms of Service

These terms cover the use of andreimalai.com and the design and development services provided by Andrei Malai, operating as an independent sole trader in Larnaca, Cyprus.

Every project starts with a written quote sent by email. The quote states the scope, the price, and the delivery date. Work begins once you confirm the quote in writing and the deposit is received. Nothing is binding before that point, on either side.

Unless the quote says otherwise, 50 percent is due before work starts and the remaining 50 percent on delivery. Invoices are payable within seven days of issue.

Payments are accepted by bank transfer, Revolut, or card. Any third party cost, such as a domain registration, is billed at cost with no markup and is shown as a separate line on the invoice.

I am not currently registered for VAT in Cyprus, so no VAT is charged.

Revisions before acceptance are included, however many rounds are needed. The work is not finished until it is right.

Change requests are handled in batches. Send one consolidated list and it is addressed in one round.

The project is considered accepted on the delivery date stated in the quote, unless you have raised outstanding issues in writing before that date. Acceptance is not delayed by silence.

Anything not written in the quote is not included. New pages, new features, or a change of direction after the design is agreed are treated as separate work and quoted separately. This is not a penalty, it is simply how the work is priced honestly.

Once the final invoice is paid, you own the design, the written content, and the code produced for your project. In full and permanently. On request I will export the project code to a repository under your control and hand it over.

The site is built and hosted on Lovable. That account and its hosting remain mine, and they are not part of what transfers. If you want the site running entirely on infrastructure you control, that is possible, and it is quoted as separate work.

Until the final invoice is paid, ownership remains with me.

I retain the right to display the finished work in my portfolio and to describe the project publicly. If there is a reason this cannot happen, tell me before the project starts and I will respect it.

Hosting for the first year is included unless the quote says otherwise.

If you ask me to register a domain on your behalf, I pay the registrar and bill it to you at cost, with no markup, shown as its own line on the invoice. The domain is yours. It is transferred to your own registrar account whenever you ask, at no charge.

Ongoing maintenance is optional and is never assumed. If you want continued hosting, regular content changes, or a domain renewed and managed on your behalf, that is a separate agreement with its own price and its own start date. It is quoted after the project is delivered, never bundled into it.

If you do not want maintenance, nothing breaks and nothing expires. You keep what you paid for.

You are responsible for the content you supply, including text, images, and logos, and for having the right to use it. If you supply material you do not own, the liability for that sits with you.

I build sites carefully and I care about the outcome. I cannot guarantee specific search rankings, specific traffic numbers, or specific revenue, and I will not pretend otherwise. Anyone who promises you those things is selling something else.

Third party services such as hosting providers, domain registrars, and analytics platforms are outside my control, and I am not liable for their downtime or failures.

My total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. This is standard, and it is stated plainly so that it is not a surprise later.

Either of us can end a project in writing. If you end it, work completed up to that point is payable and the deposit is not refundable. If I end it, you pay only for what was actually delivered and anything paid beyond that is returned.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction.
